Fatboy High Capacity Gun Safe now in San Diego
The Fatboy from Liberty Safe is a high capacity gun safe in San Diego built for owners who need serious room for rifles, shotguns, and mixed valuables under one roof. Offered by Liberty Safe of San Diego as an authorized Liberty Safe dealer, the Fatboy accommodates up to 60 long guns and pairs that capacity with 12-gauge American-made steel, a 75-minute fire rating, and interior configurations that keep your optics, ammo, and documents neatly arranged alongside the long-gun collection.
Security Engineered Into the Body and Door
Liberty Safe manufactures the Fatboy from 12-gauge American-made steel with eight locking bars measuring 4" wide by 1/4" thick, lending the door significant resistance to pry attacks and forced-entry attempts. Customers evaluating a fire rated gun safe in San Diego will note that the Fatboy offers a published 110-minute fire rating from Liberty Safe, tested at rated temperature, which is worth noting for households where response times can stretch and where paper, media, and firearms share the same safe. Lock type is chosen at order, with a mechanical dial or electronic keypad offered depending on how you prefer daily access to function. Every Fatboy is backed by Liberty Safe's lifetime repair-or-replace warranty against qualifying fire and attempted break-in, and that warranty is transferable to future owners.
Storage Capacity and Interior Configuration
Buyers seeking a large gun safe in San Diego can pick the Fatboy in two sizes. The Fatboy Jr. accommodates up to 45 long guns at 60.5" x 42" x 22" and 754 lbs, whereas the Fatboy stores up to 60 long guns at 60.5" x 42" x 27.5" and 834 lbs. Interior configuration accommodates collector gun racks and rifle rods, with door panel storage, adjustable shelves, and space for handguns, ammunition, and documents in addition to the primary long-gun loadout. Real-world capacity with scoped rifles and accessories comes in under the maximum rating, and Liberty Safe of San Diego can review your specific collection during consultation to identify the model that fits.
Finishes and Everyday Use
Liberty Safe offers the Fatboy in a range of exterior finishes with matching hardware, so the safe looks furniture-grade in a study, closet, or utility room rather than industrial. Interior light kits, dehumidifier add-ons, and door-panel organizers are offered to round out the daily-use experience. For buyers pairing this rifle and shotgun safe in San Diego with a mixed contents load, the 110-minute fire rating and full-depth interior also make the Fatboy a practical long gun storage safe in San Diego for the paperwork and small valuables that tend to accumulate around a collection.
